'Venom' Tom Hardy Signed For 3 Movies

Although in a recent interview with Esquire, Tom Hardy gave the impression that he was considering withdrawing from acting, the truth is that the actor still has obligations to fulfill on the big screen. One of these obligations is with the Venom franchise, which could be specified in case the first character tape is a success.

In an interview with Total Film Magazine, Hardy revealed that his contract with Sony includes three films of the character, but these will only be made if the first one reaches an important connection with the audience. The actor stated the following:

"I'm open to whatever you want to do with it. We've signed up for three of them. So it's very much an open case. We'll see what people's responses are to it. I think it's an awesome character. I love playing both of them. It's an amuse-bouche, and for Sony, it's the Venom-verse launched in isolation, as it were."
