Marvel Studios Owns X-Men: Disney and Fox Have Approved The Sale

After a long negotiation in which Comcast was about to send it all to hell, Disney will be able to get 21st Century Fox as a Stone more in its particular gauntlet of companies. The shareholders of both companies have agreed - in just 10 minutes - to approve the purchase process. The shareholders meetings took place simultaneously in New York and concluded with 99% of the interested parties in favor of the sale. Disney will pay 71.300 million dollars for Fox and, as a corollary, Marvel Studios will once again have the X-Men, Deadpool and the Fantastic 4 among their ranks. According to Deadline, only one person rejected the sale, objecting that Disney would spend too much money. At Fox, two other people stood up to make comments during the meeting: one to ask when shareholders would be compensated and another to say, and I quote, "I love Rupert Murdoch." Under a 50-50 sale agreement, Fox shareholders will get $ 38 M per share in cash or in shares of New Disney, a new company that will become the parent of Disney and Fox at the same time. Disney had offered 54 billion dollars initially, but Comcast presented a larger counter-offer and cash before being rolled over again and withdrawing from the process.
